O trabalho foi resultado de um levantamento realizado pelo IPD (Instituto de Promo\u00e7\u00e3o do Desenvolvimento) com base na an\u00e1lise nos dados do Censo Agropecu\u00e1rio 2006 do Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estat\u00edstica (IBGE). A pesquisa faz parte do projeto integrado com o Planeta Org\u00e2nico, visando o desenvolvimento do tema da inclus\u00e3o social atrav\u00e9s do setor org\u00e2nico.
