Over 150 senior executives from across the beauty industry convened to discuss major sustainability issues. A major outcome is that the Latin American cosmetics sector needs to take bigger steps to address its formulation and packaging impacts. Major topics on the summit agenda included tackling the sustainability challenge, social media &amp; digital marketing, formulating natural cosmetics, green consumerism, certification update, eco-design in packaging, novel packaging materials and sustainability in retailing.
