Maria Beatriz Martins Costa, director of Planeta Orgânico, visited the German Attaché for Agriculture, Dr. Martin Nissen, at the German Embassy in Brasilia, on December 18, 2014. The subject of the meeting with Dr. Nissen was the address that Planeta Orgânico will present at the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture, which will be held in Berlin from January 15 to 17, 2015, during the Berlin Green Week.

On January 15, 2015, Brazil will organize the panel “Bioenergy in Brazil: Experience and Way Forward”, at which Maria Beatriz will speak about the Amazon Region and the Green Economy.

One of the highlights of Planeta Orgânico’s presentation will be the Sebrae Structuring Project “Amazon Forest-based Cosmetics”, which was also presented in Hamburg, in the Agribusiness and Innovation Group of the Brazil-Germany Economic Meeting, in August 2014.

At this meeting of the Brazil-Germany Agribusiness Group, there was a great deal of interest in this Sebrae Structuring Project, resulting in an invitation for it to be presented in Berlin.

In her presentation, Maria Beatriz will also include information on the Regional-Local TEEB Project: Preservation of Biodiversity through the Integration of Ecosystem Services in Public Policies and Corporate Activity. There will be a panel on this subject in the 2015 Green Rio event.
